Health Departments Gets More Money

Andrew Warlen, Cass County Health Director, requested to add grants to the Health Department's budget at a commissioner's meeting last month.  "We actually talked about it, we just haven't seen it officially taken into the budget," said Warlen.

Cass County Commission Resolution Supports Second Amendment

The Cass County Commission has unanimously passed a resolution to affirm the county’s commitment to the Second Amendment. The commissions’ support coincides with the Missouri General Assembly’s efforts to pass a Second Amendment Protection Act.

Stolen School Van Recovered Following Pursuit

Cass Co – Around 2:50 am Monday, deputies with the Cass County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a vehicle driving erratically on I-49 south of Harrisonville. The caller stated that the vehicle had followed them to a business on 291 Highway north of Harrisonville and was driving around the area.
